NARRATIVE:

On 05/29/2010 at approximately 1833 hours Tpr. S. Sears of the Maryland State Police conducted a traffic stop of a gray Ford Mustang GT for a traffic violation. He made contact with the driver identified as Michael Everett Melton and one passenger identified as Elizabeth Marie Taylor. As he was obtaining identification Taylor gave him a false name. Upon running the false name through MVA it was learned that the subject of which who name she used was wanted on a warrant. She then advised of her real name. Once her real name was run it was discovered that she had placed a protective order against Michael Melton for assault. Due to no contact condition of the protective order Melton was placed under arrest for being in violation of the protective order. Taylor was arrested for giving a false name and obstructing and hindering a police officer. Both were taken to the District Court Commissioners Office.
