DSP News Release: Robbery Suspects Sought

Resume:

Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred outside the town of Rehoboth Beach.

The robbery occurred early this morning just after midnight when a 22 year-old and a 21 year-old women were riding their bikes down Scenic Drive when the 22 year-old victim was accosted by a male suspect and another male who drove up in a green Dodge Caravan. The suspect punched the 22 year-old in the stomach and face and then forcibly removed her purse. The suspect and the other male got back into the minivan and fled.

The victim did not require medical attention at the scene. The victim could not provide any additional suspect information.
