Updated DSP News Release: Sunday, June 08, 2009- Business Owner Finds Man Deceased in Office

The body of the man found deceased in the business of Aqua Leisure Plus, located at 35465 Wolfe Neck Road, Rehoboth Beach, has been identified as Joseph Francis Derosa, 20, of the 35000 block of Parsonage Road, Rehoboth Beach.

The cause and the manner of death are still under investigation.

Rehoboth- No additional details will be available in reference to this incident tonight. It should be noted that the subject found inside the business had no lawful purpose for being inside and appeared to have been rifling through a desk drawer when he died.

***To confirm, this subject was found deceased and was not involved in any such confrontation with the employee who found him.***

DSP News Release: Sunday, June 07, 2009- Business Owner Finds Man Deceased in Office

Location of Incident: Aqua Leisure Plus, 35465 Wolfneck Rd., Rehoboth, Delaware, Sussex County

Date and Time of Occurrence: Sunday, June 07, 2009, at approximately 10:50 a.m.

Resume: At approximately 10:50 a.m. this morning, the business owner of Aqua Leisure Plus entered the store in order to open. He soon discovered a person slouched over in a chair in the office. Upon this discovery, the owner fled the store and called 911.

Delaware State Police Patrol Units responded to the business, and found a male subject deceased.

This investigation is ongoing and it appears the subject may have been in the middle of committing a burglary when he died of unknown causes. The body of the male was turned over to the Medical Examiner's Office and his name will not be released at this time, pending notification of the family.
