Distressed Swimmer Missing

On June 17, 2007 at approximately 2:38 PM officers from the Ocean City Police Department responded to 31^st Street and the beach to assist with a distressed swimmer. Investigation into the incident revealed that three male subjects were in the water in distress and Ocean City Beach Patrol rescued two of the subjects, however they were unable to locate the third male. Search efforts continued and the male subject, identified as 19 year old Lijpaul Headly from Lanham, Maryland was not located.
