ACCUSED: Adrian David Manuel, 25 Y/O, Ocean Pines, MD

CHARGES: Second Degree Assault (2 counts), Reckless Endangerment

DISPOSISTION: Remanded to the Worcester County Jail in default of $7500 bond.

NARRATIVE:
On 06/27/2009 at approximately 0351 hours, Troopers from the Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack responded to 10120 Pin Oak Drive, Berlin, Worcester County, MD in reference to a domestic disturbance which was occurring in the parking lot of the Pin Oak Apartments. Investigation revealed that Adrian David Manuel 25 YOA of Ocean Pines, MD was involved in a physical altercation with the mother of his child. She received minor injuries from her assault. The mother was holding a 6 month old child in her arms during the argument and ensuing physical assault. As such, the child was also assaulted. During the assault, the child was dropped on concrete and received a head injury. Berlin Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the child to PRMC where he received treatment. Mr. Manuel was arrested and transported to the Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack where he was processed. He was brought before a Worcester County District Court Commissioner in Ocean City, MD where he was remanded to the Worcester County Jail in default of $7500 bond.
