DSP News Release: Public's Assistance Requested to Identify Burglary Suspect

Location of Incident: The Jolly Roger Restaurant, 38450 Hickman Rd, Ocean View, DE

Date and Time of Occurrence: Saturday, June 27, 2009 between 2:00am-5:30am

Suspect(s): Unidentified white male pictured in attached photos below. Wearing a white tee shirt, khaki shorts and flip flops.

Delaware State Police are requesting the public's assistance to identify a burglary suspect.

On Saturday, June 27, 2009 between 2:00am and 5:30am, an unidentified suspect entered the Jolly Roger restaurant by prying open the rear kitchen door. Once inside, the suspect forcibly removed a cash register from the rear of the bar and fled. The register contained approximately $900 in cash. Restaurant staff indicated that the suspect had been in the establishment the evening prior, however they could not identify him.
