POLICE CONTINUE TO SEARCH FOR EVIDENCE IN FREEMAN CASE

Ocean City Police Officers continue to maintain custody of the crime scene on Sunset Drive regarding the Freeman case.

Investigators have still not completed their search of the property.  They are still actively searching for additional evidence in this case.

Because of the size and complexity of the crime scene, the OCPD has called in the FBI’s Evidence Response Team to assist with the collection process. 

We are not able to comment further regarding details of the search, or any evidence found to date due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.   

Freeman had her initial appearance Friday evening before a District Court Commissioner.  She is being held at OCPD headquarters until her bond review in front of a District Court Judge Monday morning.
