NARRATIVE:
On 07/30/09 at approximately 2351 hrs, Troopers from the Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack investigated a single vehicle collision involving a motor scooter. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2007 VIP Future Champion Scooter operated by Frank Albert Snyder was traveling N/B MD 589 N/O Adkins Spur Road when the vehicle left the East side of the roadway and overturned in a roadside field. The operator of the scooter was ejected from the scooter. Frank Albert Snyder, 53 YOA of Ocean Pines received life threatening injuries as a result of the collision. He was transported to Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD where he died from his injuries. The roadway was closed for approximately 1 hour while the investigation was being conducted. Assistance at the scene was provided by the Worcester County Sheriffs Office and the Ocean Pines Fire Department.
