BRIEF RESUME:
On 8/22/09 at approximately 0647hrs Maryland State Police were dispatched to westbound Rt. 50 in the area of Rt.662(old wye mills rd) for a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that Richard Bowie 3rd was traveling west on Rt. 50 when the vehicle he was driving hydroplaned causing Bowie to loose control of the vehicle then striking an embankment causing the vehicle to overturn onto its roof. All occupants of the vehicle were able to exit the vehicle and were transported to Easton Memorial with minor injuries.
